The Veil: How to Farm Sins and Offerings Fast

What they are for

Sins buy the evil-side classes (Gladiator, Duskwing, Cultist, Hive Disciple, 30 each), Offerings buy the good-side ones (Crusader, Sky Sentinel, Florist, 30 each), and Marauder takes 15 of both. The Spellweaver wizard wants 100 Offerings. Check the classes page for the cost before you grind, because Radex’s point stands: farm exactly what your build needs.

The seven sources

  1. Weeping Crypt loot room. Teleport to the Weeping Crypt pylon, go through the hole behind the bookshelf, take the elevator up and loot the big room. Stones of Accord and Idols of Hatred spawn on the floor. Sanity drains and mobs pour in, so bring a Nightcall potion and server hop when the room is empty (Guts).
  2. Escort explorers. Explorer NPCs whistle when they need help. Interact, walk them to their portal, and you receive an Offering. Do not use a recall potion mid-escort; it resets the escort.
  3. Let explorers die. The same NPCs give a Sin if they die under your watch. Night makes this faster because mobs kill them for you (Radex).
  4. Prestige trades. Kill a player of equal or higher prestige and you get their Sin or Offering. Two friends one prestige apart can alternate (Guts).
  5. Ground spawns. Stones and Idols spawn around the map; Guts found one on the church roof in the Glade.
  6. Bosses. The Unfinished drops Idols of Hatred and Stones of Accord alongside its elite weapons and can be refought at its grave any time (Jozu).
  7. Remnant of War exchange. In the bell area, two fissure fragments buy whichever stone you want (Guts; location not documented in detail).

Trading

Stones and Idols are tradeable, and the community rate is one for one. Deepshaken received 19 Stones of Accord from a friend in exchange for a Blood Gem, which is how he reached 30 Offerings for Sky Sentinel. Blood Gems come from the gem gacha.
