What is The Veil?
The Veil is a horde-based PvE and PvP action RPG by BlackstarDW Studios on Roblox, inspired by Maze Runner, Made in Abyss and Terraria's Calamity mod. You play a runner: the maze gate opens at night, your sanity drains while you are inside, and the main quest runs through 13 bosses from the Stormcaller to the Cell of Life. It opened to everyone on September 5, 2026 after a full reset, sits at 98% likes from 77,000 votes, and is in Beta v1.0.0 with the Calm Luh Update live since September 12. This wiki keeps the codes, the 8 classes and their trainers, every race stat line, the boss roster with badge unlock rates, weapon stats, gems and the map.

Your First Night in the Maze
- Redeem the codes first. UPDATEFINALLY, EMERGENCY and SORRY4SHUTDOWN give 11 race rerolls, Silver and Ichor before you leave spawn — see codes.
- Reroll at the Stylist. Underling or Goblin for casters, Gemhead for summons, Human if you plan to prestige hard — compare on races.
- Learn to weave. Press F to dodge; five in a row is +25% universal damage. Fight beside campfires so sanity never hits zero.
- Follow the main quest to the Stormcaller. It hands you Thunder Quartz, the first summon item; the progression guide lists every era boss in order.
- Bank 30 Sins or Offerings and 1,000 Silver. That buys your first class from a trainer — classes has every trainer's location and the tier list says which to pick.

What is The Veil on Roblox?

Is The Veil the same as The Veil: Violence District?
No. Violence District is a separate Roblox game, and searches for things like crosshairs or cosplay in Violence District refer to that game. This wiki covers the maze RPG made by BlackstarDW Studios (place 125503525638054).
Is The Veil permadeath?
No. You keep your slot when you die. What you lose is one prestige level, which is a small amount of max HP, and you can earn it back by killing bosses or players of equal or higher prestige. You get three character slots.

The Veil Roblox Wiki is an independent, unofficial fan resource for The Veil players — not affiliated with BlackstarDW Studios.
- How we verify: Codes are checked against six trackers and the developer Discord; when trackers disagree on whether a code still works, it is listed as expired. Class costs, quest steps and stat lines are taken from recorded gameplay and the Fandom wiki, and each page names its sources.
- Update cadence: Bosses, weapons and the class tier list are revisited after every Roblox event update (the last was the Calm Luh Update on September 12, 2026); codes are rechecked within 48 hours of a new code being announced.
